Wicked will be back in Minneapolis July 8th-August 9th at the Orpheum
You know it, you love it, Wicked is back at the Orpheum Theatre from July 8 through August 9, and you won’t want to miss it.
This marks the show’s first stop in Minneapolis since 2022, and its first since the Wicked movies brought even more fans into Oz. The musical, inspired by Gregory Maguire’s novel, tells the story of Glinda and Elphaba and the unlikely friendship that changes them both forever. I’ve seen Wicked twice before when it came through the Twin Cities (in 2017 and 2022), and I’m not exaggerating when I say it changed my life the first time. There’s nothing like experiencing those iconic songs and moments live.
This tour stars Aline Mayagoitia as Elphaba and Claudia Bennett as Glinda, bringing fresh energy to the beloved roles. If you’ve only seen the movies, it’s absolutely worth seeing on stage. And if you’ve seen it before, you already know, it’s time to go again.
Good news, tickets are still available, so grab yours here and get ready to be changed for good.
