Also known as Langen, The Girl at the Rock Shows is one of the two fearless leaders of Twin Cities Media. She has been music-obsessed her entire life and has made nightly concert-going more than just a hobby-- it is now an obsession. Always striving to hit at least 300+ shows a year, when Girl at the Rock Shows isn't out showsing, she's at home with clouter of cats, extensive record collection, and is probably napping.

Alexa
My name is Alexa and I am a supply chain professional, avid runner, and concert photographer. While carbo loading and running long distances, (think marathon distance and more), are my main hobbies, I do love to venture out and capture the excitement of a live music experience either through the lens or in writing. I'll listen to pretty much any genre of music, but my favorites are in the realm of rock, metal, pop, and EDM. Most of my work can be found on Instagram, @alexachihos, where I post on a very irregular basis.

Chakong
Hi I'm Chakong Yang. I've been taking photos for 4 years.
I'm a fan of all genres of music but my love for EDM will always be there especially with the community and energy it brings! I have a soft spot for rock as I got into music because of guitar hero! For indie/alternative music, I love the raw emotion and storytelling, and I’m into rap for the lyricism and intensity. So whether it’s a drop, a guitar solo, or a killer verse, I’m into it all!

Jade
Hi! Jade Larisa Creative here!
You can find me frequenting Northeast favorites such as the 331 Bar, Mayslacks, and The Terminal. If I can bike to it, count me in!! I love capturing folks in their element, but when I have some creative time to myself, I enjoy drawing, painting, sewing, and crocheting any chance I get. If you can’t find me there… then I’m probably camping in the woods or working on a van conversion with my partner in our driveway.

John
Hey, I'm John. I like the weirder side of music. The weirder the better. I'm also one of the very few photographers who actually loves it when it is just red lighting on stage. Makes it feel like a Gaspar Noé film.

Maddi
Hi, I'm Maddi (or Maddi Waldo, Waldo, or Madison). I first picked up a camera when I was really really young, like talking kindergarten young. It started with disposables, then I moved onto digital point and shoots around fourth or fifth grade. Then I received and iPhone, and LOVED taking pictures on that. Eventually, my parents caved and bought me my first "professional" camera at the age of 13. I have been taking photos since, now a full time wedding photographer doing concerts on the side! I have loved going to concerts since I was very young, and grew up in a musical household. It's been incredible to combine these two passions.

Kaite
Kaite Peterson is a Minneapolis-born photographer + editor who is always ready for an adventure. You'll often find her purse filled with trash from picking it up off of the street amongst many emergency snacks, but never without a camera, a listening ear, or an opinion. She began her photography exploration in early high school with black and white film, collecting antique cameras and eventually getting her first digital SLR sophomore. With graduating from the University of St. Kate’s in studio art and art history, her primary focus was portraiture, events and food/beverage photography. Having had experience in multitudes of subject matter over the years, now specializes in creating clean compositions with natural light and in post production / editing. When not watching a movie or creeping around the woods, she enjoys traveling, a good history book, and a tasty bite of cheese.

Danielle
Description goesI'm Danielle! I own a pilates studio in the North Loop, but I'm a self-proclaimed music nerd. As a music-obsessed Gen Xer, my original career goal was to write for Rolling Stone magazine (still working on achieving that). The inability to see live shows during Covid made me realize how sad and empty my life felt without live music. Seeing shows again post-Covid ignited a fire within me to see all of the bands I love - even if I have to make pilgrimages to other cities and countries. I also stopped waiting around on my friends to agree to go to shows with me. Life is too short to miss my favorite artists when they come to town. I have an affinity for British pop bands (from Keane to The Wombats), 90s-era rock (Green Day and Foo Fighters), female pop icons (Madonna and Kylie Minogue), neo-soul (Leon Bridges and Khalid), newer alternative artists (Wallows, Role Model, Michigander) and EDM DJs that don't repeat the same beat for 90 minutes straight (Rufus du Sol and Tiesto). Madeline
I'm Madeline, a corporate girl by day and in the photo pit by night :) When I'm not working or shooting a concert, I also dabble in photographing weddings, seniors, couples, and more. When I'm not in my cube or behind the camera, I love going to dance classes at local studios, traveling as much as possible, and reading—always up for book recommendations!
