Tame Impala & Dominic Fike Are Hitting the Target Center on August 28th

Australian artist Tame Impala returns to Minneapolis on August 28th when The Deadbeat Tour lands at Target Center, bringing Kevin Parker's kaleidoscopic blend of psychedelic rock, synth-pop, and dance music back to one of the Twin Cities' biggest stages. The tour is in support of Kevin’s most recent project, Deadbeat, which has produced standout tracks including "Dracula" and "End of Summer." Fans can expect a setlist that balances new material with beloved favorites such as "The Less I Know the Better," "Let It Happen" and "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards."

Few live acts can match the immersive experience Tame Impala delivers in concert. Based on what I’ve seen, this show appears to have its stage in the center of the floor, making for a unique performance experience and lots more seating options! Kevin’s shows look like they include some insane visual production, hypnotic lighting, and a wall of sound that transforms arenas. Whether you're a longtime devotee or a casual listener, The Deadbeat Tour promises the kind of sensory spectacle that has made Tame Impala one of the most acclaimed live performers of the past decade.

Opening the night is Dominic Fike, who has quite a following of his own. He’s known for some iconic hits such as “3 Nights”, “Babydoll”, and “misses”. His genre-hopping mix of indie rock, pop, hip-hop, and R&B makes him an ideal pairing for Tame Impala's boundary-pushing sound. Minneapolis concertgoers can look forward to a bill packed with inventive music and two of the most distinctive artists in modern alternative music. Lucky for you, the show isn’t sold out yet and you can find your tickets here!
