Spend Valentine’s Day with Summer Salt at the Fine Line

Summer Salt will bring their breezy, sun‑drenched indie pop to Minneapolis on February 14, turning Valentine’s Day into a warm, melodic escape at the Fine Line Music Café. Known for their nostalgic surf‑pop sound and easygoing charm, Summer Salt will headline an evening that feels tailor‑made for anyone looking to spend the holiday wrapped in summer vibes rather than winter coats.

The band started in Austin with childhood friends Matthew Terry, who handles vocals and guitar, and Eugene Chung, who plays drums and pretty much anything else you hand him. They kicked things off back in 2012 and have been shaping Summer Salt’s laid‑back surf‑pop vibe ever since. Down the line, they added Winston Triolo and Anthony Barnett, who help fill out the band’s warm, nostalgic sound onstage.

They’ll be joined by openers Boyscott, whose jangly indie rock has built a passionate following, and Wabie, a rising artist blending mellow grooves with heartfelt, intimate songwriting. With doors at 7:00 p.m. and music starting at 7:30 p.m., the lineup promises a cozy, feel‑good Valentine’s night in one of Minneapolis’s most beloved venues. Lucky for you, tickets are still available for sale here.
