Senses Fail and Story of the Year Bring ‘The Scream Team’ Tour To The Twin Cities
Post Hardcore veterans Senses Fail (formed 2001) and Story of the Year (formed 1995) come together for a massive “Scream Team” co-headliner tour, landing in Minneapolis on December 3rd, playing at The Fillmore.
Hailing from New Jersey, Senses Fail have over two decades of delivering raw, emotional riffs and vocals, while delivering that early 2000s angst through their songs, just like going back to Warped Tour circa 2009 (which you may have seen them play at!). Story of the Year started off in 1995 under the name 67 North, eventually taking on their current name, bringing clean, loud, and melodic vocals to the perfect hardcore backing tracks. Both bands have recently released albums, with “Tear Me to Pieces” coming out in 2023 by Story of the Year, and Senses Fail just recently releasing “Lullaby Covers of Senses Fail and Saves the Day” in early 2025.
This tour isn’t just a trip down memory lane- it’s a look into two bands that helped shape the post hardcore/pop punk scene into what it is today. Expect to have a high energy night packed with opportunities to sing along to some early 2000’s hits, like “Until the Day I Die” by Story of the Year, and Senses Fail’s most popular song “Can’t Be Saved”, along with hearing their continued boundary pushing new releases!
With support from Armor for Sleep, I’m personally excited to finally slip my Vans back on and get back to screaming the lyrics with the crowds!
Grab your tickets here, and act fast, as pre-sales have already happened and a few cities are already starting to sell out!
