Blind Guardian At Varsity 12/3!

Time for some living legends to come to town, Blind Guardian is bringing their Somewhere Far Beyond tour to The Varsity Theater December 3rd!

Formed back in 1984 in Krefeld, Western Germany, the influence that Blind Guardian has had on the power and speed metal genre is undeniable. Having many lives in the music scene, they were formerly known as Lucifer’s Revenge before changing to their current namesake in 1987 to distance themselves away from certain connotations the previous could possess. A glittering array of fast and high tempo tunes adorn their music catalog, but they also have a penchant for the melodic fantasy and medieval. The next time you take a walk in a dark wood or need an epic soundscape for your next DnD bout, “The Bard’s Song” as the focal point will lead you on a most true path.

Some fantastic support will start the show off right. Finnish friends Ensiferum and Florida’s own power metalband Seven Kingdoms will be leading the pack and they should NEVER be missed. Make sure you get there with plenty of time to snag a drink and steel yourself for a night full of heavenly shredding and epic vocals to blow you away.
