Renee Rapp Dares Minneapolis to Bite Her Back
The Bite Me tour by Renee Rapp is coming to the Armory on October 10th. Known for her powerhouse vocals and soul-baring songwriting, Rapp is riding high off the success of her sophomore album Bite Me, which blends alt-pop vulnerability with bold, biting confidence.
Rapp first made waves as Regina George in Broadway’s Mean Girls, then won hearts as Leighton on HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls. But it’s her music—unapologetically honest and deeply personal—that’s cementing her place as one of pop’s most compelling new voices. We can cross our fingers for a setlist packed with fan favorites like “Tattoos,” “Pretty Girls,” and “Snow Angel,” plus newer tracks that showcase her evolution as an artist, such as my personal favs, “I Think I Like You Better When You’re Gone” and “I can’t Have You Around Me Anymore”.
Kicking off the night is Syd, the genre-defying singer, producer, and DJ celebrated for her work with the neo-soul collective The Internet and collaborations with artists like Beyoncé. Her laid-back blend of alternative R&B, soul, and electronic sprinkles offers a dreamy opening—setting the stage for a night of emotionally raw and sonically diverse performances.
Rapp isn’t just a gifted vocalist—she’s a magnetic live performer with razor-sharp comedic timing and a stage presence that’s both commanding and refreshingly down-to-earth. Whether she’s belting out heartbreak anthems or cracking jokes between songs, her shows feel like a group therapy session with your funniest, most talented friend.
In addition to the music, Rapp’s tour is partnering with Save the Children and REVERB, supporting humanitarian and environmental causes—making this concert not just a night of empowering pop, but one with purpose.
Lucky for you, you can still get resale tickets here! Doors open at 6:30 PM, with music starting at 8:00 PM.
