Laufey + Suki Waterhouse Live at Target Center

Icelandic jazz-pop singer Laufey is bringing her A Matter of Time tour to the Target Center on October 11, making it one of her biggest Minneapolis shows yet. Her new album A Matter of Time (2025) expands on the style fans love — a mix of jazz, pop, and classical influence that feels timeless but current. Songs like “Tough Luck” and “From the Start” have already become crowd favorites, and live, she balances those upbeat moments with quieter tracks that spotlight her vocals and piano playing. Laufey’s strength is how she connects: she talks to the crowd, shares stories behind the songs, and makes a big room feel smaller. Laufey is not new to the music industry, with an upbringing surrounded by classical violinists, her experience on The Voice Iceland in 2015, and now her 2025 arena tour. She released her debut album Everything I Know About Love in 2022 and it charted Iceland and The United States where it peaked #3 on the US Jazz Albums chart. Heavily influenced by jazz artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Chet Baker, Laufey’s goal was to develop a music style that draws from notes of jazz music and pop music. Her current tour started on September 14th in Florida and with a closing show on October 27th in Boston, MA.

Joining Laufey on her A Matter of Time tour is London indie-pop singer and actress Suki Waterhouse. Waterhouse released her debut album I Can’t Let Go in 2022 after an extensive modeling and acting career. With her stage presence being cinematic, whimsical, and nostalgic - she’s bound to set the perfect mood for the night.

Tickets for this show are still available and can be purchased here. Laufey will donate $1 from each ticket sold from her 2025 tour to The Laufey Foundation, to support youth orchestral programs, organizations, and music education initiatives.
