Lucy Dacus ‘Forever is a Feeling’ Live at Palace Theatre
American singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus is headed back to the Twin Cities, and this time she’s bringing her Forever Is a Feeling tour to St. Paul’s Palace Theatre on Monday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 6th. If you’ve seen Dacus live before, you already know you’re in for an emotional, beautifully crafted set. If you haven’t — this is the tour to experience her music live for the first time. From her breakout debut No Burden to the beloved Historian and now 2025’s release Forever is a Feeling, she’s carved out a space in the indie rock world that’s entirely her own — one where vulnerability and wit sit side by side.
Many also know her as one-third of the indie supergroup Boygenius (alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker). The band has earned critical acclaim for their discography, which includes one full-length album and two EPs, all supported by extensive touring. In 2024, they took home three Grammy Awards — including Best Alternative Music Album — and made history as the first all-female group to win both Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance. While the last couple of years shes been working on Boy Genius projects, this tour is all about Dacus herself. Forever Is a Feeling, her latest release, finds her continuing to evolve, by diving into themes of identity, love, and memory with her trademark nuance. It's a personal record that hints at a deeper exploration of queer identity and relationships — including her creative and personal connection with bandmate Julien Baker.
Joining her on tour are two fantastic openers: Katie Gavin of MUNA and rising indie artist jasmine.4.t, both of whom promise to set the tone for a night of powerful performances.
Tickets for the May 5th show are sold out but tickets for May 6th can still be purchased here.
