Dropkick Murhpy’s & The Aggrolites St. Patty’s Day Tour Hits Palace Theater at First Ave on 3/19
Boston punk legends are coming to Palace Theater, and honestly, you already know what you’re in for with Dropkick. Sing-alongs, Celtic punk, and a crowd that never stays still. The Aggrolites bring their own brand of ska grooves to balance it out, so the night should feel fast moving, have a ton of big hooks, and a whole lot of sweat.
This tour comes off Dropkick’s newest album, For the People, released in November, and it’s been the backbone of their recent sets. From everything I’ve heard, it’s a blast live, bagpipes included. It keeps that raw punk feeling fully intact, and at a sleek venue like the Palace, this is going to be killer.
The Aggrolites lean more laid back with their ska sound, but don’t let that fool you. You’ll still be skanking and moshing, with reggae and punk energy mashing into a really fun opening set.
You can find tickets here, and i’d definitely show up early, and buy soon- I’ve never been to a Dropkick show that isn’t packed as all hell!
