Julien Baker & Torres to Play First Avenue on 5/11

Fresh off of the release of their joint country album “Send A Prayer My Way” on April 18th, Julien Baker & Torres will be hitting the road on a North American headlining tour to celebrate. The tour, which officially starts on April 23 in Richmond, Virginia, will see the duo trek across the Midwest, South, and East Coast of the United States, with a stop in the Twin Cities on May 11th at the legendary First Avenue.

While this is the duo’s first official full length collaboration, the idea to make a country album has been thrown around between the two for several years, dating back to 2016. The first single off of the album, “Sugar in the Tank,” was released earlier this year, and was quickly followed by the second single “Sylvia.”

Joining Julien Baker & Torres in Minneapolis to open the show will be stand up comedian, actor, and writer Ali Macofsky.
