Opening the night is Family Dinner, a burgeoning local band making waves in the Minneapolis music scene. Known for their heartfelt lyrics and engaging performances, they've quickly built a loyal fanbase. Their blend of indie rock and melodic storytelling sets the stage perfectly for the evening's lineup, showcasing the vibrant talent emerging from the Twin Cities.

Blonde Redhead, the New York-based trio composed of Kazu Makino and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace, has been crafting ethereal and genre-defying music since the early '90s. Their sound melds dream pop, shoegaze, and experimental rock, creating a sonic landscape that's both haunting and beautiful. With albums like Misery Is a Butterfly and 23, they've garnered a dedicated following and critical praise for their innovative approach to music.

Formed in London in 1999, Bloc Party burst onto the scene with their 2005 debut album Silent Alarm, a record that blended post-punk revival with indie rock, earning critical acclaim and a Mercury Prize nomination. Known for hits like "Banquet," "Helicopter," and "This Modern Love," the band has continued to evolve, incorporating electronic and experimental elements into their sound. Their dynamic performances and thought-provoking lyrics have solidified their place in modern rock history. Personally, they’re featured in some of my all-time favorite video game soundtracks - for that alone, this cannot be missed.

Don't miss this incredible showcase of talent at one of Minneapolis's premier venues. The Armory offers the perfect backdrop for an evening of live music and community. Come out and support these amazing artists—see you there!
