Australia already knows what’s up — now it’s North America’s turn to catch on. Indie-rock outfit Spacey Jane made their US debut back in 2022, filling intimate clubs with their infectious indie hooks and striking guitar lines. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Caleb Harper, lead guitarist Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu, drummer Kieran Lama and bassist Peppa Lane, who joined in 2019. This fall, they’re back on American soil and stepping things up in a big way: on Friday, September 19, they’ll take the stage at the legendary First Avenue in Minneapolis.
Bringing to audiences their brand-new album If That Makes Sense released earlier this year in May 2025, produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice), the band is ready to show US fans just how much they’ve grown. The record pairs bright, sun-soaked melodies with lyrical honesty, expanding on the sound that already earned them multiple ARIA nominations and a 7×-platinum single (“Booster Seat”) back home.
Expect the night to be a mix of fan favorites like “Feeding the Family” and “Lots of Nothing,” alongside fresh cuts such as “All the Noise” that feel destined to become live staples. With anthems that make you want to shout the lyrics back and lose yourself in the moment, Spacey Jane are quickly proving they belong on the biggest stages.
If you missed them the first time around, don’t sleep on this chance. Spacey Jane’s star is only rising higher — and First Ave will be one of those shows you’ll brag about catching early.
