Satriani And Vai Heading To State Theater 5/2!

Hold on to your butts, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai are bringing their talents and Surfing With The Hydra Tour to The State Theater May 2nd!

As I type this I am relishing the soulful sounds of “Strange Beautiful Music” by Joe Satriani, my favorite song on there is hard to chose, but probably has to go to “Sleep Walk.” It is exactly how you cover a classic. Have listened to that countless times, it will never get old. “Surfing With The Alien” would be my other go-to album. Not only with Satriani be shredding your mind into mush, Steve flipping Vai will also be with him. The SatchVai band (combo of the two) is almost too much talent for one group. Almost.

Opening up is none other than Animals As Leaders. This will be one of THE shows of Spring 2026. Ten out of ten metal heads and rock ‘n rollers don’t agree on much, but this lineup is perfection. Get pumped, cause I am beyond excited.

Doors open at 6:30pm for this 7:30pm show.
