Ruston Kelly – Pale, Through the Window Tour at Fine Line (Oct 2)

After immersing fans in personal storytelling with The Weakness (2023), Ruston Kelly returns this fall with Pale, Through the Window, a tour that’s already resonating deeply. The South Carolina–born singer-songwriter heads to Minneapolis’s Fine Line on Thursday, October 2, bringing a set that balances raw introspection with a musical catharsis. He’s brought us a long on his raw personal journey and struggles of addiction before, but this album brings a happier even hopeful version of Kelly. Featuring swirling synths, pedal steel, and shades of pop-punk and emotion, his new album explores new sounds, while honoring his earlier grit.

Opening act Sam MacPherson, whose debut American Dream Trajectory has been turning heads with its unfiltered lyricism and vocal clarity, promises to bring his own earnest spark to the night. This is your chance for a closer look at Ruston Kelly’s evolving sound—intimate, evocative, and deeply human.
