Les Misérables Will Be at the Orpheum From February 17–22

The world’s most beloved musical is set to make a powerful return to downtown Minneapolis when Les Misérables arrives at the Orpheum Theatre on February 17–22, 2026. The production brings back the sweeping drama, unforgettable score, and breathtaking staging that continue to captivate audiences across the globe.

Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel and set in 19th‑century France, Les Misérables follows the journey of ex‑convict Jean Valjean, who seeks redemption while being relentlessly pursued by Inspector Javert. Their stories unfold amid love, rebellion, sacrifice, and hope—woven together through the show’s fully sung‑through score. Iconic numbers such as “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” and “One Day More” anchor the emotional core of this sweeping musical.
