Rich Brian’s “Where Is My Head?” Tour Hitting The Fillmore 2/19

Rich Brian, known originally for his debut song “Dat $tick” which garnered over 209 million streams on Spotify alone, and other hits working with artists like BBNO$, Trippie Red, 21 Savage and Joji, has continued to pump out hit song after hit song, sticking within the rap/pop genres generally, but now pushing that boundary in his own way. And now he’s headed our way with a brand new tour, and album!

This tour feels like it’s coming from a more settled place in his career. The viral hits are still part of the set, but there’s a lot more intention behind them now. His songs feel less like chasing a trend, and more focused on carving out his own sound. While comparisons to artists like Tyler, The Creator and Denzel Curry still come up, Rich Brian clearly has the ability to stand on his own, and Where Is My Head? really reinforces that.

This new album on the tour really leans into that space, mixing human ideas behind softer sounds and more personal lyrics, and really pushing the identity of “growing up and putting the toys down” (as said in Jumpy with Ski Mask The Slump God). It’s really a fun album to kind of hear about trying to be something more than your viral hits as well, and I'm excited to hear how a lot of this is performed live, and how Brian will be standing on stage with these lyrics.

The tour rolls into the cities on February 19th at the Fillmore, and you can snag your tickets here!
