Ratboys “Singin’ to an Empty Chair” Rolls Through Fine Line 4/16

Ratboys are coming to Minneapolis on their current tour, this time with a new record in Singin’ to an Empty Chair.

The band have a great mix of post-country style and indie-rock that really gets a crowd moving, but also contemplating on their lyrics, and this album is no different. Steiner, the lead vocalist, said that the newest album draws from her recent dive into therapy, and i think you can really get that feel from a lot of these songs especially “Penny in the Lake”.

The newest album has been recorded all across the US, getting special attention in each area of expertise, and you can tell the band has put a lot of time and effort into this newest record, and it’s honestly a fun listen!
