Pearl & The Oysters at Turf Club 7/15

French-American synth-pop duo Pearl & The Oysters return to the Twin Cities with a headlining gig at Turf Club on Wednesday, July 15.

Juliette Pearl Davis and Joachim Polack met on the first day of high school in Paris, and their romance evolved as they pursued music at Sorbonne in France.

They first moved to the U.S. by way of Gainesville, Fla., putting out their self-titled debut album in 2017 and later joining Stones Throw Records. They’ve released five LPs, most recently Planet Pearl. They also released the single Sous la lune mandarin in 2025.

In 2020, they moved to Los Angeles, where they have been crafting their brand of “space age jazz-pop.”

The duo’s last visit to Minnesota was opening for Ginger Root at First Avenue in 2024.
