Canadian Band Men I Trust, Adds a Minneapolis Stop to their Tour
Canadian indie/dream pop band Men I Trust announced the tour for their newest album, Equus Caballus, back in March, but didn’t add Minneapolis to their tour stops until this summer. Fans are more than excited to see this new stop added. You can see the band at the Uptown Theater on September 26th with their opener, Strongboi, a duo who is based in Berlin.
If you’re like me, you may be wondering what the album name, Equus Caballus, could possibly mean. After doing some digging, it looks like it’s Latin for a saddle horse, or a horse used for transportation. I must say this is one of the more creative album titles I’ve seen, and I am curious to know how it relates to the album. Men I Trust comprises guitarist and singer Emma Proulx, guitarist and bassist Jessy Caron, and Dragos Chiriac on the keyboard. They have some hits spanning from 2018, including singles Show Me How and Numb.
Men I Trust is known for putting on an ethereal show with local band, small venue vibes. If you like The Marias, Clairo, or Mac DeMarco and you haven’t been listening to Men I Trust, you’ll definitely want to add them to your list! Lucky for you, their Minneapolis show isn’t sold out yet, and tickets can be purchased HERE!
