Magic City Hippies w/ Superstate Coming to Twin Cities 1/31

Magic City Hippies are grooving their way through the cities on their newest tour with support from Superstate, and this stop is going to be groovy to say in the least. If your’e wanting a fun vibey indie jazz like time, this show wont disappoint.

Their most recent album Enemies, dropping about a year ago, gives a solid look at what to expect from the band, and their songs “Givin’ up On Lovin’” and the titular “Enemies” are probably the most popular off of it, and are a good representation of the album overall in my opinion. Catchy hooks, laid back grooves, and vocals that i think will translate well into a live setting.

Supertaste is the supporting act here, and honestly I hadn’t heard of them before writing this, but i gave them a listen while writing, and I’m actually pretty excited to hear them live! Classic 120 BPM dance and jazzy grooves with some solid guitar strums and funky keyboard, nothing you cant appreciate there. Should be a solid show all around!
