Lead singer and songwriter Michelle Zauner began writing songs for their first releases while caring for her mother as a way to cope with stress and eventually grief. They are best known from their two time Grammy nominated Jubilee, but bring a darker side with the newest album tilted For Melancholy Brunettes. The most consistent theme found throughout the storytelling of the new album is the perils of desire.
Touring with this powerhouse of a band is Ginger Root, lead by multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and visual artist from Southern California, Cameron Lew. This is a night perfect for those who are fans of Florence the Machine and Phoebe Bridgers.
