Get your popcorn. Macabre metal giants Ice Nine Kills are coming to Minneapolis for a double headless…errr…double header of shows.
The Silver Scream-a-Thon will show at The Fillmore on May 13th and 14th. Horror movies, heavy metal, and dark humor collide with Ice Nine Kills songs. For example, “Hip to Be Scared” plays on the iconic Huey Lewis dialogue from American Psycho. “Wurst Vacation” takes a stab at Hostel. Speaking of, “Stabbing in the Dark” pays tribute to Halloween.
Expect plenty of theatrics on stage, as their productions typically incorporate videos, props, and reenactments of horror movie scenes.
