Flaming Lips & Modest Mouse’s Good Times To Kill Armory On August 15

Indie legends The Flaming Lips and equally legendary indie buds Modest Mouse are going to take over the Armory on August 15th as they bring their The Good Times Are Killing Me Tour through our wonderful twin cities. Modest Mouse last grazed Armory’s stage back in 2023 opening for Weezer, while The Flaming Lips last graced our stages at Xcel while supporting, hilariously, also Weezer. Perhaps it was this bond that forged the tour ahead, who can say?

What we can say is that when one of the most raucous party-throwers around in The Flaming Lips joins forces in the fist-shaking, foot-stomping anthemic antics of Modest Mouse, everyone is bound to have as electric a time as could be. While neither band has put out a new album recently, they’ve been hard at work on some of the most aggressive touring schedules around, meaning fans can expect a razor sharp, well-oiled machine of a performance. There will be balloons, there will be croons, and there will almost certainly be too much (or just the right amount) of confetti.
