Three Cheers For 20 Years - Mayday Parade Hits First Avenue May 15th

Five-piece Florida alt-rockers Mayday Parade are hitting the road soon, and they’ll be swinging through our legendary First Avenue as part of their “Three Cheers For 20 years” tour. The our is going to take them across North America (then a quick dip into Australia) celebrating their second decade as a band. As if that wasn’t enough, they just released Sweet on April 18th, the first EP in a series of 3 to conclude later this year in August.

Lead single “By The Way” leads off the album - its step-to bouncy nature, riddled with upbeat energy, worms its way into your brain with staggering ease. Pulsing follow-up “4000 Days Plus The Ones I Don’t Remember” juxtaposes its stead, rock-driven core with self-reflective wistfulness, a contrast that carrier through on the EP and helps it stand out.
