Anna Graves Brings Her Minnesota Story Home to the Turf Club on September 24, 2026

Minnesota singer-songwriter Anna Graves will return to the state that helped shape her music when she brings her current tour to the Turf Club in St. Paul on Thursday, September 24. The show will feature fellow Minnesota artist Anna Devine as the opening act, with doors at 7 p.m. and music scheduled for 8 p.m.

For Graves, this isn't just another stop on a tour. She grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota and eventually left the state to pursue music in Nashville and Los Angeles. After several years away, she returned to Minnesota in 2023. That homecoming became an important turning point in her songwriting and ultimately influenced much of the music she has released since.

Graves started releasing music professionally in the early 2020s, including the songs “Easy for You” and “In the Wild.” Her 2024 single “Made to Love Someone” helped introduce her to a larger audience, eventually surpassing one million streams. She followed it with songs including “Fly” and “When the Love Is Gone,” along with her Solstice EP.

Her music has also reached audiences outside of traditional music venues. “Fly” was featured in the Netflix series Nobody Wants This, while songs such as “Hollow Bones,” “Ashes & Smoke,” “Bluebird” and “Burn On” have helped build her growing catalog.

Graves released her debut full-length album, America's Greatest Burnout, on August 21. The 12-song record moves between folk, country and pop while drawing heavily from her experiences over the past decade. The album includes “Damn In Love,” “Goldmine,” “Jaded Songbirds,” “Minnesota” and “Burn On.”

The Minnesota connection is especially noticeable on the new record. “Minnesota” is included among the album's tracks, while Graves has also continued to draw inspiration from the rural setting where she grew up. Her return home has become more than just a change of scenery; it has become part of the story behind her recent music.

Graves has already shared stages with artists including Stevie Nicks, Maren Morris and The Head and the Heart, giving her experience performing for much larger audiences. Now, with her first full-length album and a headlining tour underway, the Turf Club gives her a chance to play a more intimate room in front of a Minnesota crowd.

Opening the show will be Anna Devine, another Minnesota singer-songwriter who has been building her own presence in the Twin Cities music scene. The pairing makes the September 24 concert a particularly Minnesota-focused night, with two local artists bringing their own versions of contemporary folk and singer-songwriter music to the Turf Club.
