Amyl and The Sniffers Rock Out The Palace

Amyl and the Sniffer’s peformance at the palace was nothing short of a punk rock time. Everything this band does is in the name of Rock and Roll, and it was so evident on stage, their passion and professionalism.

The band started with hits like Freaks To The Front and Security and went on to cover their classic set list. My personal favorites were when they played Hertz, U Should Not Be Doin’ That, and Jerkin’. Everyone around me screamed Jerkin’, and for a moment, the amount of healthily expressed female rage in the room was high; it was therapeutic.

The audience was enthralled by their riot fest on stage, and it was so hard to miss the palpable energy in the room. Amy did a good job of highlighting her gratitude for the audience for showing their love.

The audience was drenched in sweat by the end of the show from dancing and letting loose. The high-octane energy that Amy Taylor brings is one of a kind, and the audience was in a trance watching her rock out on the stage. The palace was the perfect venue for their high-octane music.

Something I love about Amyl are their empowering lyrics and messages. Amy also took a moment to make some inclusive statements and really spoke to her values and beliefs. The band is always so committed to creating an inclusive, fun, and safe environment, even if there is constant moshing and crowd surfing.

Their charisma is unmissable, and they blend the perfect amount of charismatic stage presence and genuine connection with the audience, making for an awesome show to photograph and experience!
