Avery Anna Brings Sparkle and Soul to the Fine Line Music Café

On December 17th, I went to see Avery Anna at the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis, and honestly, it was such a fun night. The venue is cozy, so it felt like we were all hanging out together instead of at a big concert. Dylan Davidson kicked things off with a soulful set that really showed off his voice—he’s got this theatrical vibe that made his performance super engaging. Then Jenna Raine came on and brought so much warmth and energy. Her songs were heartfelt and catchy, and you could feel the crowd getting more and more excited for Avery.

When Avery finally came out, the place lit up. She walked on stage wearing this adorable fur-lined coat that gave off total winter glam vibes. A few songs in, she took it off to reveal a stunning sequin long-sleeve dress paired with a custom cowboy belt that had the title of her tour engraved right in the center—it was such a cool, personal touch and totally fit her aesthetic.

She opened with upbeat tracks like “Mr. Predictable” and “Blame It on My Broken Heart,” and everyone was singing along right away. What I loved most was how she mixed fun, playful songs with really emotional ones. “Make It Look Easy” and “Indigo” were standouts for me—they hit hard in the best way. There were moments where people laughed during songs like “Breakup Over Breakfast,” and then moments where you could hear sniffles during the more vulnerable tracks. Avery was so genuine on stage, sharing stories and connecting with the crowd like we were all friends.

She closed the night with some big, powerful songs that had everyone cheering and singing at the top of their lungs. Walking out, I just kept thinking how Avery Anna isn’t just an amazing singer—she makes you feel every word. It was one of those nights that leaves you smiling the whole way home.
